It's a wicca practice if you are referring to the same thing.

Also called grounding.

I don't go barefoot myself, but my boyfriend goes barefoot everywhere, and we both agree that he's healthier for it.
I doubt the electromagnetic theory behind 'earthing', though, and so does he.
It certainly is beneficial, though I have my doubts whether it's the contact with the earth that's helpful. It could also just be the focusing on something simple where the relaxation and clarity comes from. That's actually more likely imo. But if being barefoot and outside helps with that, it could be a bit of both.
Walking for sure has health benefits. I don't see any special magic in skin to ground contact. On the other hand, a mighty nice place to walk is barefoot on a sandy beach in the wave wash, and I highly recommend that!!

We all used to be barefoot...
Later, our shoes were very close to earth, we were.

Now, we have to suffer through concrete and other first world crp, we are so far removed from nature, it is a crying same.

And it IS affecting us, in ways we can't even imagine or measure.

Going barefoot has definitely improved my mental and physical health over the years. But it's a personal thing and I don't need to create a philosophy or try to monetise it 👣🙂

Walking on the earth barefoot is the best meditation you can do my friend .
I agree with you .
Good Question
I’ve read a little of the research. I have a work colleague that swears by it.

I believe so.

For me? No. The very thought sickens me. My feet feel uncomfortable and always have while bare on earth.
RedBaron · M
No. As a diabetic, being barefoot anywhere at any time poses a serious health risk.

You should try it correctly, then we can talk.
Believe whatever you want to believe I guess. All I see from that is dirty feet and maybe an injury.
