I've noticed something

When I do wear socks and shoes my feet seem to feel hot and uncomfortable after a short time until I take them off again. Is that something to be concerned about

Shoes and socks are bad for you unless you need protection from the weather. So taking them off is certainly nothing to be concerned about. Shoes feeling hot and uncomfortable is unfortunately just the way it is. I wear footwear only because of the cold weather in the winter or for style.

What I don't understand is that so many people wear shoes that are neither stylish nor comfortable.

@ninalanyon it definitely helps to get them off tho

Not really. it just means you’re getting accustomed to being barefoot.

The more accustomed you are to being barefoot, it's very likely you will feel more uncomfortable and uneasy about wearing shoes and socks. One time, I went to the park and began walking around with shoes and socks. I felt so uncomfortable and unsettled and ever since, I have walking in that park completely barefoot!! 👣👣

@Barefooter25 I agree. Now, I feel weird if I have shoes or socks on. Barefoot is my normal, and I love it!

No it's shoes may not be comfortable for you. Try wearing different types of shoe / trainers then see if it's any change. Socks, avoid wearing fat and tight ones.

@Rob04 I hate to wear long socks I have to wear shorts ones
Well hopefully your skin doesn't crack or become calloused because shoes protect your feet.
