I don't think I could ever fully embrace the barefoot lifestyle, but I can still appreciate the idea of what it feels like to be barefoot in different areas. I just worry that if too many other people went barefoot in these areas, some of them might have and spread fungus infections, especially if they are new barefooters.

@DavidT8899 No, but I imagine it'd feel like any tile or wood floor, right?

@33person No,its much better! Most gym floors are laminated for protection,so in has this icy sheen that is wonderful.
@33person Most barefooters are aware that we need to cover up when we have contagious foot conditions, though.

Most of the time, we do it more for ourselves than for other people... we don't want to add infection to the foot condition any more than we want to infect others with foot cooties.

With that said, though, not everything is contagious.

None of those are my favourite. I think my favourite at the moment is something solid and textured. I have granite tiles in my kitchen. They're rough to the touch and tend to be on the cold side. Nice first thing in the morning for waking up the body.

Cold floors in general are great, especially on a warm day

@natureboy3 agreed. you can't beat cold tiles or stone that have been kept sheltered from the sun in summer.
