What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done?

Have you ever stepped outside of your comfort zone and done something daring or adventurous? Maybe it was skydiving, bungee jumping, or traveling to a remote location. What was the experience like, and what did you learn from it?

I have done so many things in my life that defied death while other's perished including my son that came home and is one of the 22 veterans a day we lose to suicide in the United States. 11 major surgeries from my career to two on my spine so I would not be paralyzed from the waist down. Just too much to pick just one, or the most of any of them, and unless you have been to war there is nothing for me to describe, I can't, and I won't. Losing my son was my worst having had the same path and experiences.

What I learned is to live my life to the fullest for the ones I lost along the way that do not have the chances that I have to live my life to the fullest.
