Today was an adventure i got to ride in an ambulance to the hospital because i had a severe allergic reaction to almonds hidden in a clump of caramel

I didn't know nuts were in it because i didn't see any.some clumps were chocolate covered and that's what got me. I felt my jaw tighten and my cheeks go tingly. My throat felt super tight and i was having trouble breathing. I got lightheaded, i felt overheated and my heartrate sped way up and pulse. I was struggling to speak and get out full sentences to explain what was happening and i guess to my parents i sounded confused because i wasn't sure what i wanted to do. My mom called the ambulance for me.

The paramedics gave me liquid benadryl but it wasn't working so they used the EpiPen which worked. I got a bunch of fluids shoved into my body. Pepcid for my stomach, some steroid i don't remember the name and more fluids. Im ok im just very tired and feeling shaky. I have a prescription for epipens being written for me.
