I'm not really interested with keeping up with the Joneses.
Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against the Jonses, its just that I dont care about what they want. If they want a pool and I don't want a pool, well thats just how it is.

@Jimmy2016 a pool would be nice, but I'd need a heated indoor pool. I cant handle the cold, nor the sun. I hope the Joneses dont have a heated indoor pool.

I used to wonder how people in our neighborhood managed to afford all the nice fancy stuff they were buying then during the time of the 90s crash, their cars and houses were all being repossessed.
We were able to weather through that time because before, we lived conservatively and saved money.
My kids didn't get fancy new bikes and cars like their friends but they still had a house to live in when the economy took a shit.
