I read that you will more likely be bit if you wear dark colours and also if you drink alcohol, are pregnant or have blood type O. 🤷🏼

@helenS definitely no alcohol for pregnant women! I have an adopted son with foetal alcohol syndrome so I've seen what can happen. 😟

We live by a lake, and in summer there are millions of mosquitos , especially at dusk. For unknown reasons, my sister is much more tormented by them than I am. Always great to be near my darling sister at dusk, because it's always her whom the mosquitos target – from her nose down to her toes 😏

@Fairydust I heard about the mosquitos. He's turned them into flying jabs. Apparently Bill got his start with ant farms as a kid.

It takes them hours to discover me most times. But once they do, the word's out.
The repellent suggestions here really do work.

I've also heard that those with higher bld. sugar contents can attract them quicker.

No,Mozzies and other flying bugs don't like me. I've only been bitten once by a mozzie..and that was in the scrotum..I was in the shower at the time. Not pleasant.
