If you win the Powerball tonight, will you take the lump sum or the annuity?

I don't play the lottery, but if I did, I would take the lump sum. You can't guarantee you will still be alive to take the annuity every year, and you might miss out, so...lump sum. Half of that would go to taxes...immediately...so you would not take home quite as much as you think.

If I had all of that money I would definitely buy a house.
