The Scammers In India Are Trying Harder To Find A Scam That Will Work On Me….

😂 They tried a Medicare supplement insurance scam on me a couple days ago. I let him (Jason) go through his spiel. When he asked me what supplement insurance I had I replied “None of your damned business!” And hung up. Yesterday when I was cooking dinner a woman with an Indian accent called and goes through a spiel of how she knows I am paying too much for my electric bill and that they want to repay me $50 a month blah blah blah. Asked me if I was the one paying the bills and if I was getting any other help and I say “No”. Then said they could reimburse me on my debit or credit card, which do you want? I told her to come to my house and put the cash in my hand cause I don’t give my debit or credit card numbers to scammers in India. In recent weeks I’ve been offered free resort vacations, help to refinance my credit card debts (I have none), and several other things.

As an Indian,

They tried to scam me too lol. Here's a screenshot for the same.

They put up we'll instead of will. So I texted them back too lol to play along. Never got a response though.

@cherokeepatti I love messing with them.

I kinda want to waste their time as much as I can. But I wish he called me lol.

@Starcrossed Haha I was that exactly.

@Beatbox34 yeah I do that too, try to mess with them building their hope that I am stupid enough to fall for their bait. Then when I get tired of playing tell them what i think of them.

So sorry to hear scammers from India are trying to steal your hard earned money. This is a way of life for some scammer outfits and one has even been in business for 29 years in the video.

Engineer Mark Rober was tired of them and infiltrated and hacked into their cell center scam operations (laptops, and room cameras). Have a look at how he gets payback by sending the scammers roaches, rats, and a stink bomb to their scam center for revenge - (check it out at 18:00 min)

@PatKirby I was just going to post that.

@PatKirby The police are generally paid off by the scam centers and that’s how they continue to operate. But if someone can hack their cameras and get video evidence and present it to the government then something is more likely to get done to shut them down.

I sometimes play Chuck Norris Voice just to fuck with them
I kind of enjoy getting those calls. I'll pretend I'm hard of hearing, and make them repeat themselves. Then I'll say it back to them but as something completely different from what they said. They'll usually get so frustrated they will end up hanging up on me.
One time I told them I couldn't understand them with their thick accent, and asked if they had someone there who spoke English Apparently that triggered them and they went on a profanity lace tirade. I was laughing so hard by the time they hung up on me...ahhh, good times..

@TheSentinel they probably get told in the Scam School they went to that their English was perfect. The Scam School is pretty much a scam for the ones who go to it.
Lilymoon · F
here too. Every other day seems like 🤦‍♀️
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Lilymoon I had 6 calls in one day a couple years ago.
Lilymoon · F
@cherokeepatti Yeah I believe it...
I get the Medicare calls too, and the thing that gets me (aside that I'm not on Medicare) is that they spoof the numbers. Usually come up as one of the area cities. I keep blocking, they keep calling. Last one, I got a little nasty and told them to stop calling me.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@BrewCityBarfly Yes they spoof different cities in Oklahoma. Lately it’s been Anadarko Oklahoma. Not a whole lot going on in Anadarko for any legit business to be calling me from there.
@cherokeepatti Mine are spread out. I would screen them, except I use my phone for work, and invariably have something going on for home repairs, selling something, etc.
They keep telling me they used my credit card and I need to call to straighten it out. Over and over again they name things that they claim has been charged to my card. Hmm liars!

Started on PayPal…

@NoGamesTolerated they have tried the “Someone has used your Amazon card” scam on me dozens of times. They’ll call and use an excited voice like they are trying hard to help me saying someone used my card at 5 a.m. I like to tell them “Oh that was me, I couldn’t sleep so I got up and ordered a new phone”.
@cherokeepatti lmbo hahaha

@PatKirby Most of the Indian scammers are based in India although some are here too. I found a name of someone that was working as a scammer in my city.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou they have some of them calling when I am cooking dinner. I guess they don’t realize what time Americans eat dinner
4meAndyou · F
@cherokeepatti I feel absolutely vicious if I am cooking or eating dinner and I have to run out to the other room or get up for the third time. I don't answer 800 numbers anymore.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou I had my cell phone in my pocket and put it on speakerphone and kept cooking. The boy was listening and laughing

@ChemDawg oh yeah I get those too. They stopped with “I’m from Microsoft and your computer has a virus” and they’ve also stopped “Your computer warranty is expiring and needs to be renewed” too.
