There was this guy who won a reasonable amount on the lottery in the UK (something like 5 million), when they interviewed him he said it was a welcome windfall as they were saving to go to Blackpool, now they could afford to go twice!
(About a week later they interviewed him again and he said he'd been caught on the hop with the last interview and they were planning to go somewhere nice instead).

@FurryFace yeah he can be funny. He’ll chatter up a storm like he’s talking to someone and then he says “yep” or “yeah”…he’s a chatter-churn when he gets wound up.

@Ravens80 I’d have a country home with all the amenities I’ve dreamed of…a nice storm cellar, a clotheslines, backyard chickens, a treehouse, etc. Would invite people over for “Beans and cornbread” and if they would accept the invitation have some baked beans and cornbread to go with barbecue and side dishes. Still simple at heart even with money.
