I'm so confused. does she think that a conservatory somehow adds to the heating of the planet? I understand the 'if this is part of your house, it'll gather more heat and be harder to cool [if you don't build it the right way]' aspect, but this seems like an engineering/design problem to fix and an outright ban seems like overkill. in fact, if done correctly, it should be able to design them in such a way as they vent heat to the outside directly in summer and they could be used to help provide heat to the rest of the home in the winter, lowering energy needs and leaning in hard to the environmental ends she claims to be after.
