First floor - In US it means the ground floor. In England it means the 1st floor above the ground floor 🙂

@scorpiolovedeep Was thinking of the flat surface. Pavement in the UK is walked on.

@Thodsis There are loads of words that are different. But the question was words that have different meanings in the two languages.
