When I was young I used to think the Rapture was going to happen. I mean all those screaming televangelist on TV collecting money and they had all this biblical evidence Etc.

I asked my dad why people were just living normal lives if we were all getting ready to go to hell anyway because of the rapture and my dad just said, they've been saying that for 2,000 years.

That one idle comment was all it took to get me to stop worrying.

I guess I should have known better but I was just a dumb kid.

@MrGomco It was a big hype in the 1920s. The Vienna Circle was a group of scientifically trained philosophers who sought to reconceptualize empiricism by means of their interpretation of then recent advances in the physical and formal sciences.
I went nuts with those ideas when I was, like 20 or so, and a student of physics.

I spent like 60$ on online music that has special frequency that's supposed to help with mental clarity and focus turns out there's no scientific evidence for this.

@1LostNForgotten I seem to remember seeing or hearing about that at some point years ago.
I assumed it was the new release by some hip hop band with a name like "Pimp daddy and the slapahoes"

@CestManan I think BrainAmp was the website that I bought the music from. They had good background music, but you are better off just downloading free music.
