You'll be thrilled to learn the word "suppository" dates back to 1763 when the Latin "suppositorium" was first used to mean a substitute for an enema. It's generally believed the actual use of suppositories dates back a few thousand years so no one knows for sure who first figured this one out.

@LeopoldBloom I had a copy of Hopscotch for many years but could never get into it. I do still have a copy of Blow-up and Other Stories that I have read many times but I'm going blind and can't read real books anymore.
