collegue snakes, bait and trap

I was just thinking how snakey and shady my last job and co workers were, i got along well with one girl Emma, we would talk in the clothing departments, one day on break she asked me which guy i like here and something told me to lie and save myself the embarrasment IF she decided to tell everybody, there wasn't many people to choose from but i said Dan, the youngish 30 year old, very happy chappy type of guy, so i was set on him, but really i liked this guy Dylan who was my age, brunette, pretty boy face, he was genuinenly so chill to talk too.
She said she wouldnt tell anyone and soon as the oldest worker went by she told him there, right in front of me after just saying she wasn't gonna tell. She couldn't even wait wow
She told everyone, but my secret was safe, some guy thought i liked him, the guy i really liked would never know and honestly it was better that way.

She really tried to ruin me because one girl i didn't really get a vibe from was really popular and i had a inkling she liked dylan too, she would have made my life hell if she found out.
Women can be so conniving, they actively won't like you and then invite you brunch, gather data on you and then use it against you to publicy humiliate you.
I really don't operate like that, that's lowkey psychopathic.
