My gmaw has had a rapid decline in memory this past week

She's had bad moments before, but now it's ALL bad moments.
Example: last week she called my sister to ask wether or not she (gmaw) had a dentist appointment the next day. I'd taken her to the dentist just hours earlier.
She also forgot that my uncle had given her her eye drops just 5 minutes earlier.

I also had to remind her multiple times within a few minutes that she has an appointment with her hairdresser on thursday.
Me: I'll be back on thursday to get your groceries BEFORE your hairdresser appointment that day.
Gmaw: when?
Me: thursday
Gmaw: what happens thursday?
Me: You have an appointment with your hairdresser
Gmaw: I don't have a hairdresser (she's been going to the same one every 2 months the last 30+ years)
Me: sure you do. Don't you remember {hairdressers name}?
Gmaw: yeah, what about her?
Me: you have an appointment with her on thursday
Gmaw: what for?
Me: to get a haircut
Gmaw: when?
Me: thursday at 2.30
Gmaw: what happens then?


The conversation continued for about 10 minutes before she got distracted by the tv.
