In another universe, can I get a better mother?

Is it selfish...¿
Hm, have you ever been made fun of by your parents? Of course everyone has. But the point here is... Is it normal for your parents to tell negative sides or trivial things about you that don't even need to be told to their cousins or friends as entertainment or to prolong the conversation? In my opinion, this is a privacy issue, and she shouldn't say that to others, especially about her child. But unfortunately, she's not the only one doing that. Is that narcissistic? I really hate her, but I hate myself more for starting to act like her...

(Sorry for my bad english, cause it wasn't my first language ❤)

While there is no assurance that you can get a better mother, you already have the opportunity to become a better human and a mother in this life itself. The problem we face today is due to telephony. The worst thing that happened to the world is phone calls being made cheap compared to the days when we had to pay per minute for even local calls. So the stupid old generation do not know the value of time, and sit on each others time and just talk nonsense just to keep the conversation going.

So as a youngster who is looking up to your future, you should learn how to start ignoring things around you, and focus on your career and future.

You can actually act matured by becoming her mother and treat her as a child.. So if she teases you, just smile instead of getting angry and just say "do what makes you happy child" .. and just walkaway. People are bored in life and do not know how to engage their time. So they just try to tease or pull up a fight the moment they see someone.

Even if any of your cousins tease you by saying your mom said this about you .. just laugh it off.

It is all in how you act and react.
