Why do customers want to pay us the same as what they can "get it online" for?

Go ahead and buy it.

Then when you want it to work - how will you make that happen?

Technical products take trained people, who are in high demand right now and make a lot of money...but everybody thinks it costs nothing to keep a business open...

They don’t understand the overhead costs of having a locally owned business vs. selling things online.

@fun4us2b I’ve worked for a couple businesses. People assume anything that gets bought at wholesale and marked up to a sale’s price that the difference is all profit for the owner. Not true at all. In the used car business you have to pay for more than one type of insurance and a bond. There are license fees, utilities, property taxes, tools, labor costs, fuel for the vehicles, contracting out for various services on the cars, parts for repairs, etc. Then when a customer comes up and wants a certain vehicle and you quote them a price they try to get it for almost half. Wouldn’t be making enough to stay in business much less cutting a fair profit.
