@fun4us2b I’ve worked for a couple businesses. People assume anything that gets bought at wholesale and marked up to a sale’s price that the difference is all profit for the owner. Not true at all. In the used car business you have to pay for more than one type of insurance and a bond. There are license fees, utilities, property taxes, tools, labor costs, fuel for the vehicles, contracting out for various services on the cars, parts for repairs, etc. Then when a customer comes up and wants a certain vehicle and you quote them a price they try to get it for almost half. Wouldn’t be making enough to stay in business much less cutting a fair profit.
