i love him and hate him

we have talked for a week and he said he likes me but where moving too fast and we need to be friends and he hasn’t texted me in two days after he said that. i wish i meant more to him and i really love him but now i don’t think he likes me. idk what to do

And I also know what this is like because I recently went through the situation I was looking for a solid friendship and a foundation to something bigger long-term and better and because I would not immediately jump nor immediately up any money I was now discarded. In the worst part was they tried to make me believe it was because of my own actions instead of their inadequacy. Don't buy into the b*******
