What am I without my academic achievements?

My family of six everyday's meal budget is $1.70 (or $3.00 on a good day). We can already buy 3 packs of noodles and 1 kilo of rice with that little money although it's not enough, so I always voluntarily eat the smallest portion just so my mother will eat since she always insists she's not that hungry.

Growing up with a poor life is exactly why I've sometimes thought about suiciding, to lessen the mouths they have to feed everyday. I hear my mother cry to sleep sometimes and knowing I can't do anything is literally killing me, everyday I think about it (I'm apparently too young to work in fastfood restaurants or other shops).

Since all I can contribute for now is my achievements from school, I've ALWAYS study hard to make my parents proud and happy even if it's only for an hour.

From the 1st grade to my current grade, I've always been on the honor roll. Have been the high honor, been the rank 5, 4, 2 and 1 in my past classes, and I will always make sure that I make it on the honor roll because I feel like I'm basically nothing without my academic achievements.
This mindset is a great one to have if you intend to be single until you turn 35.
