I think I'm gonna be sick

So when I was younger, like really young, we had a family dog. She was a great dog but sadly she passed way too early.
Noone really knew how she died but we've always been told that it was something she ate. Now my mom has proposed that maybe my father killed our family dog. I'm distraught.
Thinking about it more closely my father has killed two of my mom's pets in the past and has done litlerally anything to make sure my mom is miserable.
He's also broken animal protection laws.
I don't know if he killed our dog but the fact ik considering it not only possible but probable, says a lot about him as a person.
I don't know how to deal with this. I think he might have actually done that
