failing math class

I am disapointed in myself because I failed my math class and I am afraid to tell parents that I failed. Even though I could re-take the class, I am still disappointed in myself because I feel like I could of done better. I am trying to stay postive, but I am just really sad and disappointed right now. I am not expressing it though because I don't like expressing my emotions.

I have dyscalculia. I can't do maths for toffee. It's the one thing that's held me back. Retake it, don't give up. It's been really the only regret in my life to date.

@Patientlywaiting What will you do for toffee?
Patientlywaiting · 46-50, F
@Allelse it depends who's asking 🤭

That is interesting, and I did not know it had a name! I noticed it in me many yrs ago in elementary school. I called it, “Numeric Dyslexia.” A term I coined for it. I can look at large numbers or a series of numbers and they will switch positions as I look upon them! Needless to say, it has left me with no confidence in doing math calculations beyond the very simplest forms!

@Thorstormbringer what you described however is not dyscalculia, that's still dyslexia 🙊
@MartinTheFirst Ok! Thank you, sir !
