Is my boyfriend ghosting me?

He hasn't been replying for almost 2 days now. But he's the type who doesn't reply when he's busy. I've been patiently waiting. It's still 3 weeks since we started dating and it's the first time not hearing from him for this long.

You haven't known him long enough to make any definitive conclusions. It maybe his normal behaviour.
MsHonesty · 22-25, F
@KiwiBird Yeah I was thinking the same thing. TY

It's too early in your relationship to know for sure, but it is very much time for you to decide if this is something you want to deal with long-term. Decide now or it is going to be an ongoing problem for the both of you.
MsHonesty · 22-25, F
@Ontheroad I see... thanks
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Ghosting does not officially occur until 3 days in a row. Please follow the rules.
MsHonesty · 22-25, F
@MarkPaul Oh I didnt know

It only takes a few seconds for him to send a text.Did you make sure that you are in an exclusive relationship with him?He could be dating other women too.No matter the reason you are a low priority to him.

He has his days when he can't talk, it comes with the territory. Three weeks isn't time enough to base your relationship on. Maybe let it go for now. Don't stress. Good things will come
BigImo · 22-25, F
I wouldn't stress about it. I once ghosted a boyfriend for three months
He probly has other girlfriends. Forget him

It's not too much to expect that he will let you know when he's busy. It takes two seconds to say that in a message, then you wouldn't worry about it.
WhateverWorks · 36-40
It’s pretty early on. I think a better question to ask yourself is, “Do I want to keep investing in someone who doesn’t prioritize communicating with me?” When I say communicating I’m not talking necessarily about the 2 day gap, but that he hasn’t;t bothered to clue you in on why so that you’re not left wondering what’s up.
Be careful. Most men are more turned on by winning a fairly difficult conquest. If he thinks you're coming off as being anxious he may be t turned off. Give him time, find other pursuits and interest.
He's probably busy. My man will sometimes go a few days without contacting me if he is busy or sick.

@HootyTheNightOwl Ok, this kinda helps ngl
@MsHonesty Given that you are still so early in your relationship, now might not be the best time for being too clingy, either. 2 days isn't a lot of time for a guy to drop off the radar - I'd be more concerned if he's been away for two weeks and won't get in touch.

If you double text you won’t know his true intentions. Just wait and see what sort of excuse he gives when he finally decides to reply.
Continue with your patient wait, MsHonesty.

People work n need rest too. There cud be emergencies.

May be he lost his phone
May be he is in a condition where he can't spend a minute to reply to your text
YoungPoet345 · 26-30, F
no, it's normal not to hear from someone for a couple of days. I would give a little more time.
Fawma123 · 46-50, M
Can't you just do something else to occupie yourself you will come across as needy.
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
He’s too busy for a gf if he’s that busy. Find someone else.
Mattypp · 56-60, M
I try to talk or say hi at least once a day when I date or with woman
SW-User
Maybe he's not your boyfriend. In his view ...
Mattypp · 56-60, M
It don't take but a minute or so to say hi if he cares
MsHonesty · 22-25, F
He just replied 🤗

It's too soon to draw any conclusions. Now, if you make plans and he's out of touch, that might require a decision. I hate uncommunicative people.

My gf just bought a new, expensive iPhone, essentially, $1300 to browse You Tube and send texts and I can never get her on it. So why buy it?
