I Am Venting

I just gave my Mother-in-law's dogs a bath and the poor things are covered in fleas. 😡 She won't spend a dime on flea control for them, but she sure don't hesitate to keep herself stocked up with cartons of cigarettes, lottery tickets, and junk from consignment shops.

Also, her elderly dog has growths (hard and soft) all over her body and my MIL wont take her to the vet. Some people should be BANNED from owning animals!!!

@Butterflykisses24 yep. I've tried every way I can to educate her about the dangers of letting fleas stay on her dogs and in her house. She just doesn't care.

@Butterflykisses24 We've argued with her, we've threatened her, and I've even gone so far as to contact local authorities about it. But this is a rural swamp shithole in Texas and the animal welfare laws are very lax. Basically there's nothing they will do as long as the animals have food, water, and shelter.
