how many times did you cut through your nail before you learned to tuck in your fingers?
the first time was significantly worse but years have passed and i just got feeling back in the tip of my thumb and the second i did i go and do this bc i was watching a video instead of my onion 🥲
and i still probably won't cook right 😩 i don't think i've learned my lesson yet

@Frostcloud That's what I did. I was rushing trying to get the opening caught up when I worked at a pizza place and wasn't paying attention. Ended up having to work a 14 hour shift with gauze on my thumb. 😑
@thepeculiarpanda 😭 ny first job was at a pizza place and sometimes if things got backed up you could store things on top of the massive hot oven. i went to pull something down and for a few years i had a single burn scar going across the bottom of both my forearms. if i put my hands together palms up it was just one thin line hahaha
@Frostcloud The one I worked at was a pizza buffet that inexplicably had a swinging door going into the back. I'd be carrying a stack of hot pizza pans and someone would inevitably come barging through it and knock them all over my arm. It looked like I was self harming from all the burn marks. 😂
