... Take the assignments you enjoy or have the energy to work with, finish them. Then continue. Some study tips...
- Stay hydrated
- Eat well
- Use a quiet location to focus
- practice deep breathing to remain calm.
- take a 5 minute break every 20 minutes. Maybe going for a small walk or put on some music and stretch.
- shower regularly
- ask for help from a friend if that is an option
Then for each school work you haven't done you were asked to, write an honest note saying...
"I did not complete my assignment and I am sorry.
I did not complete my assignment because...
I would like to request an extension.
These are the steps I will take to not avoid finishing my assignment...."
Could work. Teachers want you to try. They don't want their energy going into students who don't try. It's upsetting. So showing evidence that you are trying is good.
It can be hard being distracted easily. For me, it happens when I am not calm. I study best when calm. Staying healthy in eating and drinking also stops headaches.
I also would recommend asking your teacher or school counciler for help with distractions.
It can be hard studying because studying is hard. And the consequences can be a pain in the ass. But just know almost everyone struggles with study. It's hard to do something when it almost feels like there is no reason to. But honestly, study is just to make you a more rounded person and not fall into pitfalls that cause injuries or suffering whengrowing up. In my opinion at least.
