Been stuck on the same weight for AGES😩

Cheeses me off 😡

I eat clean, high fibre, hi protein, low carb. I gym now....but ... ugh...NUFFINK !

Been at this for years now🫤

However....today i had a win:
On an inspiration, i ran up two flights of steps, taking two at a time !!!
(I been noticing that they were easier, but this ?)

....im blown away !

At the beginning of this year my knees used to KILL doing stairs.
I was getting tempted to use the ramp instead.

So...i may still be a chonk...but a not so sore and wobbly chonk.

Take that Life !🖕💪🏆

Attagirl, Oogie!
My knees tell me more about my weight then the scale does
height for me.. 🤷‍♂

I have a new set of rules instead of the scale. How do my clothes fit and how does my body feel after exertion. If both are positive I am fine.
You rock! And glad to hear your progress!
I'm really happy to hear that your knees are doing so much better. Muscle mass and curves are both good things.
@NudasPriest it was such a revelation. It was so easy !

Its just nice to see results. 🤗
@OogieBoogie Take it a litlle further and we can really celebrate:

3 stairs for Oogie's knees! Hip-hip hooray!
I have been stuck at same weight for a bit myself. I have noticed that the barbell i can do more rep sets now and taking the stairs all day doesn't tire me out

Maybe we should just take our wins
@Bexsy Oh that's REALLY good ! Its hard to stick at it.

i AGREE !
Sometimes you cant get everything you want, but if you get some of the important ones...
...welllll... that's a good thing yeah?

Ive also noticed stacking wood is easier too - I've not been getting so puffed so easily .

I really didn't think the training was doing much yet...so this is really inspiring 🤗
@OogieBoogie I think a lot of times we overlook increased stamina and strength. Too busy analyzing in the mirror lol me anyway

The scale is not the only measure!
@BrandNewMan exaclty !

Im so chuffed.
THIS was the other main thing i hoped for ....to get my movement back.

I mean, being slim wouldn't be any fun if all my joints ached and it hurt to move.

This has made me so happy🤗

@OogieBoogie Congrats!

Believe me, it's not you, it's the scale, it's stuck, buy a new one 🤣

Replacing fat with muscle sometimes puts on weight. I tend to look at a food's GI rather that calorie numbers. I do full fat and not that fussed about fatty meats as long as it's accompanied with good carbohydrates.

Maybe your body is trying to tell you something.
‘I’m happy!’

Maybe it’s your mind that needs to accept your body.

I think you look great! Your personality makes you 💯
