Anyone else hate the 21st century?

Or is it just me? I don't want to start listing all the things I don't like about how the world is now, because that would be one hell of a depressingly long list, but one of the things I'm really bothered by is how easily so many people have effectively become enslaved by the very technology that was supposed to make our lives better.

I saw almost every day of the second half of the twentieth century. From my perspective, the twenty-first century is WAY better. In the twentieth, there were two world wars, one culminating in two nuclear attacks. There was a forty-five year long Cold War that posed a nuclear threat every single day. At one point over half of Africa and India faced starvation daily.

There is no comparison. The twenty-first century is the greatest so far.
