Anyone else hate the 21st century?

Or is it just me? I don't want to start listing all the things I don't like about how the world is now, because that would be one hell of a depressingly long list, but one of the things I'm really bothered by is how easily so many people have effectively become enslaved by the very technology that was supposed to make our lives better.

Our boomer parents went to college for pennies on the dollar compared to us and basically after they took over instituted a lot of changes to the market that blew up I mean of course Blockbuster laughed at Netflix when they offered to sell a share of the company to them and looked for partnership because of the quartlies blockbuster wouldn't be looking out for it's long term interest it was obsessed with how to make profits in the next Quarter thus the black swan that Netflix was allowed to completely destroy their business until there was nothing left of it, plus if you ever wonder about Comcast and Time warner and why there's so much turnover with people quitting all the time and new folk being brought in it's because they don't pay them enough to be screamed at by irate customers but try pointing this out and proposing paying their employees better and it won't go anywhere because that would mean spending more today when the company needs to make money by end of quarter to look good to Quarterly analyst. AND THIS A BAD IDEA BOOMERS IMPLEMENTED. There was no quarterly reporting before them!
@PDXNative1986 I'd consider Netflix to be more of a gray swan event
