In your opinion, how old does one have to be before they can start using the phrase, "Back in my day"

I am in my middle 30's and I catch myself saying it sometimes.

Depends on the audience. To me, it either means in pre-television days or in the age of typewriters. My parents used it on me to mean pre-WW II or more loosely, pre-1950.
