how to deal with missing out

[c=7700B2]i had a lot of problems throughout my life unfortunately, anger problems, mental problems, social problems, i squandered oppurtunity's and wasted them...anyway as a result of all this i missed out on life, i'm 46 now and i missed out on my dreams of finding a partner, a girlfriend....missed out on many other things as well, ive travelled a very dark path.
[/c]

[c=4C0073]how can i come to terms with that? the fact ive ended up on my own now in my mid 40s? i only have my elderly parents for support, but that's it.[/c]

You have to accept that you can't have your time again and leave the past where it is. 46 isn't old. Set some goals and work towards them. Once you start achieving things you will see that you can move on.

@meggie thanks, it helped.

Come on now, it's never too late to start again. Some people get married again in their'60s, 70's, and 80's! People have to take the initiative. I don't look in the past. I'm not going that way! If it's gonna be, it's up to me!!! I can't tell you how many times I've reinvented myself and had so much fun doing it! You can do this!!!

@darkmere1983 sorry that is the case you have health issues but do not give up on happiness yes you say you have wasted opportunities. but you are aware of your mistakes and other chance will come your way and you will know too use a different angle too make it work
