Ugh I need a life

The last time I talked to someone was earlier this week when the cashier said they liked my jacket. For months now all I’ve done is schoolwork, writing, exercising and housework. I’ve rarely left my place. I’m so used to be alone I don’t know any other way to live but this can’t possibly be good for me. I haven’t put real pants on in days. How does one be social when your naturally antisocial and just plain awkward with people?

When I was younger and less outgoing, I made an effort to do my usual activities in public spaces. Reading, crossword, working on work on my laptop. Coffee shops. Bars. I'd always sit at the bar if I went out to eat. I'd get drawn into conversations. Not always, but enough that I got better at meeting new people.
