Confinement for how long?

It's just after 4.30 pm and it's dark outside.
I'm looking into my garden and as another day closes I'm contemplating what I have done today.
Much the same as yesterday.
Days are melting into each other and the past year has gone far too quickly.
How will we feel when we can hold and hug our loved ones again?
Will we take our freedom for granted again as before?

Even for an introvert like me this has gone on way too long. I just want to go do simple things like browse books in the libraries or hang out in a bookstore, go to a thrift store or yard sales or farmer’s market or sit in a restaurant and stay a bit long talking with friends and no mask.

@cherokeepatti Yes, I like doing the simple things in life. I have always been a homebody, but this is a bit too much now.

@Toesinthesand I liked to go shopping early in the morning like about 8-8:30 before the stores got busy, take my sweet time and not have to think about anything but enjoying my morning. I was getting more exercise that way. The weather many times is too cold, too windy, raining etc. and when I am in stores I can walk without worrying about it hurting my joints or getting wet or too cold or too hot.
