Disappointed by my therapist

So i asked her what she thought of me doing group therapy and she said no.
She said most people in the group setting would not be understanding of my tics or outburst and i should not go.

Not what i was expecting her to say.

@SinlessOnslaught i have mostly facial tics and extreme outbursts where i yell out some pretty bad words

@Cigarguy If they share similar symptoms then they should understand. Did you ask your therapist exactly why they said that?

@SinlessOnslaught doesn't matter much anyway. I have find a new therapist next year anyway. Her office won't expect my new insurance
