One reason I work on family history is to try to remember those forgotten people. If they had not done whatever they did, I wouldn't be here, enjoying the life that I am living. Still, you are correct. They and I will eventually be forgotten.

I am puzzled by folks who haven’t died yet but are sure about how it works. Nobody I know who is still alive is sure about the hereafter, or the lack thereof.
