Healing from lost love ones takes time. I’ve been divorced before and that’s the same as a death. I lost parents and a sister. Hard to get over. Go into your memories and remember the good times. Never get angered because they keft you.

When a door closes, many others open. This was a big door, it has always been there, for years and years but now it is shut. Once a door closes it can never re-open, all you have are the memories of what was inside.
You can talk to the door, but really it is a waste to dwell on it, it only hurts you.
As long as he is in your memories he is still there with you.
Find a new door and go explore.
