She probably could have been saved, but because of some bullshit technicality, the room attendants “couldn’t” enter her room, so yeah, she was dead by the time paramedics arrived

Lodges have large mailrooms?
I assume they're not allowed to enter the room if the guest is still in there to, in theory, protect the guest and the employees, and limit the lawsuits.
