My oldest stepsister died this morning, the cause is uncertain, she has had complications from thyroid cancer surgery since late april.

She had been in the hospital since last thursday, they pulled a total of 11 liters of fluid out of her thoracic region and suddenly retained CO2 yesterday and was put on a bipap machine to pull it out, she asked to be taken off of it about 3pm yesterday as it felt torturous. My mother moved in with her into her house a year and a half ago rent free, just help with the utilities, food, and utility taxes, my stepsister was a retired prosecutor in the family court child support recovery section for eight surrounding counties. She owned her house outright, I have no idea where my mother will live, I am certain my stepsister did not leave her house to her in her will. In case you all are wondering, I was not particulary close to any of my stepsisters, her death does not really affect me much, my mother on the other hand was closer to her and my other much older stepsisters than to my older brothers and myself, because they were her much obsessed about "daughters" she always wanted to have herself, while we were merely only sons.
