I was woken up by a military funeral taking place in my courtyard today 😐

There were drums and trumpets, as well as an ambulance and a police car. After the gathering and the music, the ambulance and police car will drive around town whilst the ambulance plays a unique tone with it's siren. Every car driving on the street is then welcome (encouraged) to follow them, which creates a long train of cars. If you're standing on the street while they drive by, you have to kneel.

There are countless military funerals these days. I am so grateful that the recruiters didn't get my husband yet, he just has to survive until it's over. I have a feeling that this will be the last winter of the war.
