I was woken up by a military funeral taking place in my courtyard today 😐

There were drums and trumpets, as well as an ambulance and a police car. After the gathering and the music, the ambulance and police car will drive around town while sounding the ambulance's siren. Any car driving on the street is then welcome to follow them, which creates a long train of cars. People standing on the street while they drive by typically kneel or at least bow their heads.

There are countless military funerals these days. I am so grateful that the recruiters didn't get my husband yet, he just has to survive until this is over. I have a feeling that this could be the last winter of full-scale war.
