Question for people that work in morgues and funeral homes.

I’m curious how the workers mentality is. I’m sure it’s just a job and someone has to do it right? But does it ever make you sad in anyway? My aunt recently passed, I watched them take her body out of the house and I just hope she was taken care of. I miss her so much man

In high school my best friend's dad was a mortician. I personally saw a large jar of gold teeth that morticians pull out the mouths of souls before the lips are sewn together. And if they had on a wedding ring or other favorite piece of jewelry for the viewing.............you can bet it is not on them when the lid is closed behind closed doors before the burial.

I've heard someone describe it as peaceful.

I guess if it’s their job they are used to it?
