do we wake up in other dimension after we die or stay dead until resurrection day and the after life?

Ashes to ashes is all you get, there is nothing after that. Minuscule parts of you may appear in something else but you, conscious you, will never know it because your conscious dies with you. You are a unique grouping of cells and life experiences and when your brain dies all that goes away.
