When does death of a close love one hit you?

Am I ass for not feeling grief for someone close to me that died Friday night.

This is someone I grown up with since grammar school and I'm kinda mad at myself for not feeling grief

People grieve in their own way, in their own time. It's still very new, you may feel differently in a day, a week, a month or whenever.
