IDEAS FOR NEW JOBS.

I almost died once. And was in real pain in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit), and all I wanted was the oxygen mask off my mouth and my mother around me. They just shuck me in one corner and treated me like a body. That sucks about ICUs. Empathetic People should be paid and given a day and night job just to hold their hand and rub their back. That's what I think. What are your thoughts?

@goneNow6565 True. And I found that they are normally most rude and heartless in the ICUs. Like a piece of furniture, yes.

@nobodyishome One time I tried those phone doctor hotlines (since that seems to be a new thing insurance companies are trying to push). It was SO awful. I basically paid 100 dollars (not including whatever my insurance paid) for some doctor to yell at me that he wasn't able to examine me in person so he had no idea.

It was crazzzy.

They basically have too much work I think. They have to deal with people like you see here on SW all day long.
