It's the Eugenic's Society, founded by Margaret Sanger and the aviator, Charles Lindbergh, that's trying to get population control to speed itself up.

@cherokeepatti Oh, but apparently that's "just a conspiracy theory". 🙄
NativePortlander1970 · 51-55
@cherokeepatti Exactly, have you noticed the spike in youth suicides in the past 10 to 15 years? They're deliberately taking hope away from the youngers, it's in all their music and other media. In the 80's us X'ers were pelted with motivational music to keep us upbeat while we were experiencing epidemic broken homes, now it's the opposite, nothing but depressing songs and shows.
@NativePortlander1970 Yes, 80's music is so much better than the depressing, Satanic garbage that passes for "music" these days.
Oh dear, I never thought I'd sound like 'Grandpa Simpson' telling kids to get off his lawn, LOL 😂

@Bel6EQUJ5 Please don't invoke that mythical being, it's far too malinged. Have you ever read the story of the Greek Titan Prometheus?
@NativePortlander1970 I've heard of him, but I'm not really familiar with Greek mythology. I just know the basics, like the fact Zeus was the king of the gods, and Poseidon the king of the sea.
NativePortlander1970 · 51-55
@Bel6EQUJ5 And Hades was the ruler of the underworld, the three main Greek Gods. Most of the myths and stories of the Mediteranian and Aegean are intertwined, Prometheus was the Titan who gave the humans fire to keep them from freezing, as well as knowledge, which supremely angered Zeus, who in a fit of rage chained Prometheus to the side of a cliff, crows eating his liver every night, and it regrowing so it can happen again, night after night for all eternity. Sound familiar? Prometheus is also depicted as a serpent in the myths.
@NativePortlander1970 Yes, that's right. Fire. Then there is Atlas, who is forever compelled to roll a stone uphill. When he reaches the top, he winds up at the bottom again.

@Bel6EQUJ5 That's Sisyphus rolling the boulder, Atlas has the world on his shoulders.
@NativePortlander1970 Damn! That's right. 'Atlas Shrugged' by Ayn Rand has that image on the book cover.

@Bel6EQUJ5 And the word Altas for map
@NativePortlander1970 Book of maps. And the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
