I can’t imagine being dead, can u?

I saw two corpses in my lifetime...tried to imagine being one...couldn’t do!
calicuz · 51-55, M
I always thought of it like being asleep, but never waking up.
WildWings · 61-69, M
Yes I can. I imagine it often.
Wiseacre · F
What’s it like?@WildWings
I've had dreams of my dead body, like 'I' was watching my funeral.
It was alright. I can imagine it.
Lostpoet · M
I was once stuck in church for five hours 🤔 I imagine it's something like that.
Absolutely I can. It's going to be the best part of my life.
I'm looking forward to it.
Wiseacre · F
U saying we lived and died before?@PhoenixPhail
@Wiseacre Many, many times.
Wiseacre · F
@PhoenixPhail reincarnation..doesn't appeal, unless I have a say not to return..
bowman81 · M
I have seen more corpses than anyone should have to see. I don't think about being one. Compartmentalization is a good thing.
Wiseacre · F
How do u do it?@bowman81

['@wiseacre] 🤷‍♂️well sadly nobody can be immortal so sadly one day you will end up that way as a corpse 😢
SW-User
I can certainly imagine a few others being dead.

🤭😂
I imagine it's like losing consciousness. We don't exist anymore.

@Spoiledbrat

Like when you're asleep. What memories do we have of that "experience"?
@Spoiledbrat It's just the opposite. We become the super-consciousness we really are.
Wiseacre · F
I’ve never even lost consciousness @Spoiledbrat
SW-User
it's beyond our comprehension.

Even our imagination can't find a positive spin on death.
Wiseacre · F
@SW-User true, so true
MethDozer · M
Ah the sweetest release
Wiseacre · F
Release for sure..hate to think my body rotting away!@MethDozer
@Wiseacre You won't give it a thought when you're on your way to the other side.
