Dude got shot by a guy named Orlando Anderson. He was a Southside Compton Crip who had beef with the Piru Bloods. Tupac & Suge Knight's crew jumped him earlier that same night. Which is why he ended up killing Tupac after. Pac wasn't involved in the beef & it wasn't his battle to step into, so sadly that incident gave the crips a green light to kill him.
Orlando Anderson was killed 2 years later which is why he never got caught or arrested. But the cops knew. They got confessions out of the people close to him... including his uncle who was there. But never an official confession from Anderson
