The Implications of Death

I think about death often. It comforts me to know that this life is not everything. That this life will be over and we will move on. All of the things you worry about everyday or you think truly matter; don’t. No matter who you are, no matter what you do. We all die. We are all equal. We all end.

Yeah, it can be motivational. People think it has to be this big dark sad thing but it doesnt have to.

Knowing you can't preserve anything makes it easier to push yourself to the limit.

Sounds like you have a bit of experience with death to be so comfortable

@Iwantout Yes. I almost died in a car accident last April.

That is what they say. That is how it seems.

What amazes me in a morbid way is people's obsession with collecting more and more and more in this life--often at the expense of others who need those things more--like they get to take it with them, or it'll earn them bonus points in the next life.
