I Am Angry

Has Brexit opened the doors for open racism on Britains streets, schools, places of work? Is it really acceptable to overlook your child giving open abuse to another child who wasn't born in this country? Is this really going to make Britain great?? Really????
If this is an example of how to be British I have to admit I am very afraid of what is to come.🙁

I agree with EssexPhil that what's there today was also there last week. I voted to leave, not really because of immigration but because I don't want to be answerable to a secretive bureaucracy hell-bent on a United States of Europe run by them.

As to racism, in my opinion, the only workable solution is integration - my grandparents and their parents came here as refugees at the start of the 20th century, so I hope I know what I'm talking about. The stories about the NHS spending £millions, if not billions on translaters is just plain wrong. I don't think it's racist to insist on immigrants learning the language and respecting our laws. I do agree with you though, Lemonysnicket, that there should be no place for verbal abuse towards anyone!
