Something that's like, really horrifying about this is that ICE is not actually deporting more people than they did under Biden.

What ICE is instead doing is making a huge show of being terrifying. Secret police who kidnap people from the street, or send people to a gulag for being brown and having an autism awareness tattoo.

This is about putting on a show, and the cruelty to children is a part of that show.
